Discounts for MOS Members

Do you know that, in addition to a full subscription to our society journal "Mathematical Programming," your MOS membership entitles you to substantial discounts on various books and journals of other publishers?

We hope you find these discounts useful!

MOS-SIAM Book Series

The MOS/SIAM Series on optimization (formerly MPS/SIAM) is published jointly with the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics.

SIAM offers books in its MOS-SIAM Series on Optimization to MOS members at a 30% discount on list price. See here for further information about books in the series.

Taylor and Francis

The latest such offering is from Taylor and Francis, who are offering personal subscriptions to "Optimization Methods and Software" and "Optimization" for GB £ 60 or US$ 100 each. To access this offer, go to the journal homepages

and click on News and Offers on the left hand side of the screen near the bottom. This takes you to another page where there is a link:

Here you can subscribe to the journal at the special rate. Once the payment has been received, the member will receive an email from informaworld, the platform for the online contents, explaining how they can access the full contents. The member will receive personal log in details which they can use from any computer, anywhere in the world. Members can also sign up for free Table of Contents alerts, so that they know when a new issue is available and what articles are in it.

Springer

Springer also offers 25% discounts on most books in its catalog through its SpringerToken program.

An explanation of how to use this token can be found in this PDF document from the Springer web pages.
